The dust jacket is rubbed with some minor soiling and the head & tail of its spine are chipped. 158 pages plus colophon. Profusely illustrated in color and black & white. Near fine in a good dust wrapper. Catalog for an exhibition conceived, organized and catalogued by Georges Bernier. The exhibition, which included painted, sculpted and photographic portraits of Sarah Bernhardt as well as artworks and decorative objects related to her life and career, was shown at the Wildenstein gallery in New York from November 13 to December 28, 1984.
