The lyrics and musical notations are accompanied by numerous black & white engraved illustrations. Undated, but a gift inscription is dated 1877. --- In bevel-edged green cloth-covered boards with oval color image of two children pasted to center of front cover. Cover titling and decorations in gilt and black. --- A rather well-preserved copy: tightly-bound and sturdy but with inked inscription to front endpaper, another inking to title page and prior owner's sticker to front free endpaper; taped repair to last leaf. Covers with scratches and fading to spine title block.; 12mo - 7 to 7-1/2 in. tall; 160 pages. Good with no dust jacket .
