With dedication by the author (to John och Maria Gullbrandsson) written on a piece of paper pasted in on front paste down. First edition. A narrative of the Swedish Spitsbergen expedition in 1872-73 by the expedition's botanist. It was headed by A.E. Nordenskiöld and was the first wintering in Svalbard by a scientific expedition.
