Internally clean and crisp. Copy of Signet Library, with gilt crest on covers. First edition. A narrative about the Nilgiri Mountains (or Blue Mountains), bordering the Karnataka Plateau and Kerala states in southern India. It's a mountainous region which was unknown to the British until 1818 but later became their favourite summer and weekend getaway.
