London, S.W. Partridge. 1905, First Edition. Cloth, 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Gilt title block to spine with black anchor motif and gilt title and cameo of a young Nelson within blind embossed anchor and seahorses motif on blue cloth boards. Boards are clean with some light wear probably caused by rubbing alongside adjoining books with just a touch of wear to corner tips and spine head and tail. Internally there is a contemporary neat name and date to front pastedown and some light foxing to closed edges else clean, tight and unmarked. 303 pages and 32 page publisher's catalogue. Coloured frontispiece tissue guarded and 8 other illustrations. Not dated but British Library has this as 1905. Overall a Good + copy. A marvellous life of Nelson written for children. A1B. Good/No Jacket.
