No inscripitons, a little foxing to preliminariesand closed page edges, otherwise contents clean and fully readable, coloured frontispiece 'An Imperial Airways Liner, ' simple title page opposite with single line drawing of an sea-plane, 23 stories by various authors, 8 coloured illustrations, plus numerous illustrations in black and white, drawings and diagrams. Not paginated. The first contibution is 'Aviation as a Career. ' by Sir Samuel Instone, Director of Imperial Airways Limited, other titles include Green Fire, by T C Bridges, False Flying Colours by Reginald AH Clark; Curlews to the Rescue by Geoffrey Prout; Croydon The Air-port of London, by R T Norton, A City of the Sky by D G Turner etc. Packed full of nostalgia, plenty of advenure and challengs, the topics include How to Build and Fly a Model Aeroplane, Safe Aircraft, Joining a Light Aeroplane Club, and Exploring the World by Air, and Aeroplanes of the Future by Col. Charles A Lindbergh. The coloured picture of an Airship (On a World Flight) , would point to this book being prior to the Second World War.. Good+ .
