The cover is marked and the paper has suffered from damp. But a rare book.(Bruce Angrave, born 1914 in Leicester, died 1983. Bruce Angrave worked as a freelance book and periodical illustrator, designer and sculptor (including paper works for the Festival of Britain in 1951 and Expo 70 in Japan). As well as Austin Cooper, under whom he had studied, his poster designs were influenced by Tom Eckersley, Lewitt-Him and Abram Games. Angrave designed posters for the GWR, LMS, LNER,British Railways and for London Transport 1942-1964. Later designed work for TV. He was a member of the Society of Industrial Artists.
