Chicago: T. S. Denison, 1880. 1st edition thus. Original publisher's brown cloth binding with gilt stamped title lettering to front board. Perimeter rule stamped in blind to boards. Salmon colored eps. 110 pp. Twain's piece, pp 85-89, and from his 1873 collaborative work, The Gilded Age. 7-7/8" x 5-1/4". Bright gilt. Very light shelf wear. Ex-Lib of Congress accession copy, with stamp [dated 1880] & 'Duplicate / Surplus' stamp to top of t.p. [no other markings]. Withal, a pleasing VG+ - Nr Fine copy.
