A scarce publication, rumoured to have been confiscated in the entirety of its run, it was published in the midst of the Cold War as an anti-People's Capitalism propaganda. A political meme, popularized in the 1950s, it touted the success of the American economical system throughout the world. The author of the current book, allegedly basing it on official statistics and facts, attempted to disprove the existence of people's capitalism beyond a theoretical idea, calling it a mirage, or Fata-Morgana.
