London, Ward, Lock. 1947, First Edition. Cloth, 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. First UK edition. Red title on light blue cloth boards which are very clean, unmarked with no wear. Internally there is a neat contemporary inscription to front endpaper and a small bookseller's label to front pastedown else very clean, tight and unmarked. A Very Good + copy. Dustjacket has a few very small closed tears, is not price clipped and is very bright for it's age. 'When old John Curran died he left his ranch to his two sons on condition that they reformed and were willing to work together in harmony. But here the paths of Pat and Lorry, both renegades, parted, for although the eldest was willing to follow the terms of his father's will, the younger was determined to get his share of the Nar C by fair means or foul'.
