Later brown calf spine and corners over stained boards. dulled gilt title stamped to the leather onlay of the front board. Spine with 4 raised bands and dulled gilt banding. Patterned endpapers. Original blue cloth cover with gilt decoration, laid-down to free-front endpaper. Blue coloured title, with light foxing to page edges. Clean text throughout + 5 tinted plates (all with light foxing to page edges). "Chatto & Windus's List Of Books." (pp.32), dated 'October 1884.' A well preserved copy of this scarce book.

Return of goods
