It was erected in 1774 and demolished in 1956. Walter Montgomery (1827–1871) was an American-born British actor, real name Richard Tomlinson.born at Gawennis, Long Island. He played in London, and in Bath, Bristol, Birmingham, Norwich, and Great Yarmouth where he became a favourite.
