Polished black calf over thick boards, with blind stamp decorated border and central bright gilt crest: "Surrey County School". Edges bumped and corners carefully strengthened. Spine with 5 raised bands and dark brown leather and gilt title: "The Christian Year". All page edges red. Marbled endpapers. Modern bookplate to verso of the front board: "Ex Libris Ken Paul" Small ink binder's stamp to top of front endpaper: "Bickers & Son, Leicester Sq. London". No other marks or ownership details. Clean English text throughout. VG.

Return of goods
