The four musicians who have inscribed this sheet were original 1970s members of Crown Heights Affair, a Brooklyn disco and soul/funk group. Muki Wilson was a bassist/vovalist, Bert Reid a saxophonist, Phil Thomas a vocalist and William Anderson a guitarist/vocalist. The group's "Dreaming a Dream" reached number 5 on R & B charts. Other top 20 hits were "Every Beat of my Heart", "Foxy Lady" and "Dancin'".
The musicians' inscriptions read as follows: "To Bob / Peace and success / from Anderson / Crown Heights Affair"; "To Bob / from Muki / Bass player / C.H.A."; "To Bob, / Best wishes / Love / Bert of C.H.A." and "To Bob, / Best of everything / Phil Thomas". Very good .
