MENSING in 1889 in crushed and polished brown morocco, cover-edges w. gilt fillet line, elaborately gilt inside dentelles, double gilt triple fillet borders on both covers, giltlettered title on spine, 5 thin raised bands, top edge gilt, kept in custom made brown cloth dropback box with fleece-lined insides. = With annotation in pen and ink on verso of first free endpaper stating that J.C.M.
