NNBW VII, p. 665 - 672: Very rare first Dutch translation of one of the most important pamphlets by Jansenius. In fact it constitutes the beginning of the Jansenist movement. The original Latin edition was published in the same year (Louvain, Oliverius, in 4to. 30 pp.). 1630 was also the year in which Jansenius was appointed at Leuven, where he saw to it that Jesuits were removed from teaching positions.: Willaert, L., Bibl.
