Having recently closed our shop, we now operate from private premises, where our stock may be viewed only by arrangement or invitation. We are within 1 mile of Intersection No. 20 on M5 motorway, and close to Bristol. We have been trading via. shop, book fairs and catalogue since 1970, We have 50,000 items in stock, books, maps, prints and ephemera. Specialities include Scholarly/Academic, Earth Sciences, Travel, Antiquarian Maps and Prints, and Histories of Science, Technology, Industry, Transport and Architecture |

Terms of Sale All items remain our property until fully paid for. We make a £1.00 packing charge on all items. Shipping will be by 1st class, (UK), or by Airmail for all items below 1 Kilo weight, unless we are instructed otherwise. Heavier items will be shipped by thecheapest means available. At our discretion, more expensive items will be tracked, or sent ""signed for"", and this may incur an extra charge. NB;- ALTERNATIVELY, go to "Clevedon Books", via "Search Bookseller by Name", and send us a question, (using the "mail" symbol), regarding shipping. All prices are Net, but quantity purchases could attract discount. Payment required before shipping, except that certain public bodies and institutions may arrange otherwise, against official orders. Payment by PayPal, (using your credit card for this, on Invoice from AntiQBook), Sterling cheque, Bankers Draft in Sterling or Sterling Money Order. Cheques drawn in major foreign currencies or Euros accepted, but conversion charges will be required - will need to be confirmed, but c.£12. If in the unlikely event an item is not as described, or has been damaged in the post, please contact us within 7 days of receipt in order to resolve the matter or to arrange a full refund, as may be appropriate. A ""change of mind"" could be considered, but would incur our postal charge, as well as return postage, and receipt of book in same condition as when first sent. |
