VI, 122pp. list of illustrations. Black and white Illustrated frontispiece by Jack Harman. Within the text there are another 8 black-and-white illustrations by the same illustrator. Red coloured boards with black illustration of a Panther on a tree limb in the lower right-hand corner of the front cover, and there is black writing to the front panel and spine. The spine edges are soft and bumped and there is bumping to the book corners. Shelfwear to the lower book edges and dust marks to the top. Browning and foxing to the top paper edge and lightly to the other paper edges. Offset tanning and browning to the endpapers and faint browning to the internal pages. Illustrated dustwrapper, again by Jack Harman, with red and black writing on the front panel and red-and-white on the spine. The top corners of the dust wrapper rubbed and chipped and the lower is just rubbed. There is chipping, with loss to the top spine edge and there is chipping and decreasing to either side of the spine. A little rubbing and occasional chipping to the lower dust wrapper edges. The dust wrapper is also quite faded and rubbed, particularly the back panel. In this book "Pete Cimarron, the wild boy, makes friends with some of the Prairie People who have settled near the Wild Grass country.". When Pete is accused of rustling cattle, Pete and his new friends set out to capture the real rustles. This is the first UK edition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
