Modern red cloth binding, ex library, gilt number etched off the base of the spine, binding/hinges are in excellent order (no worries about damaging the inner hinges here). Bright and tidy internally, minor marking, a couple of minor foxing spots to the first and last page or two. Contains 88 sheets of plates (checked and complete), neat oval low visibilty (almost invisible) Bath Library stamp (early 20th c) on the top of the plates, on the title and one or two other places. (no ink markings or ink stamps). Pages; XV, (1), 439, (1). A travelogue through the Rhone valley, written more as a novel. Good.
