I pointed out mildly that I would much prefer it to be 'What I Think Are the Best of the O. Henry Stories'. The reply was to the effect that if I had selected them I must obsviously think they were the best, provided that is to say, I was right in the head. It is true that may be asked whether it was necessary for them to have employed a lunatic, but they can always reply that I seemed all right at the time and that at any rate I', not violent. 1139 pp.
