COSTELLO, DOLORES - Original Still From Noah's Ark

Hollywood, Warner Bros. 1928, Original Still. Paper, Original linen backed 8" x 10" still of Dolores Costello in "Noah's Ark." The film was a big budget silent film epic about mixing the bibical story with a modern day romance set during the days following World War I. The large cast featured Dolores Costello and George O'Brien and featured a young unknown Myrna Loy as a slave girl. Costello was married for a time to John Barrymore and is noted as being the grandmother of Drew Barrymore and for her lovely performance in The Magnificent Ambersons. The still is from a publicity binder and has 4 binder holes to the large margin at the top of the still. The still is of course brown with age which adds to the beauty of the photograph. Rare and fine.
