India, Ramlochan Books. 1963, 1st Printing. Small Paper, TEXT IN ENGLISH. Very scarce screenplay by Ruth Prawer Jhabvala for the 1st feature film that was directed by James Ivory. Based on her novel the film starred the wonderful Indian actor Shashi Kapoor. Illustrated with more than 60 stills, this is the only copy I've ever seen. Very light wear, some rubbing to the covers tiny corner bumping otherwise a vg. copy. Laid in is a nice 10pg. foldover brochure for the dvd release of the film. Small scrape to the front.
