CECIL G. TREW - Drawing Without a Master.

London England, Adam & Charles Black, 1944. Reprint, Binding: Cloth, Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall Harback Hardback. Slight foxing and a couple of small marks to inside covers. Slightly sunned spine. Slight wear to edges and corners of cloth. Grey cloth with red lettering. This little book attempts to give a few hints to those who want to draw and how, for one reason, or another, are either unable to attend classes or prefer to study on their own. It deals only with work in black and white, either pencil or pen work, though it is hoped that many of the suggestions herein given are general enought in principle to be of use to those who wish to work in other mediums. Of necessity, only a small amount of advice has been possible in each subject dealt with in the ensuing chapters, but it is hoped that this book will serve as an aperitif to make further discoveries. Illustrated. 108 pp.
