The book is bound in black cloth with gilt printing. It is clean, straight & tight; would be near fine except for an area along the front lower edge where there is wear to the edge and corner. The dust jacket is clean and bright, price intact; there is edge wear and one tear in the back fold (approx. 1 inch) that has been internally mended. A very nice copy.
