Zonder plaats of uitgever [= Den Haag, H.H. van Drecht], 1780. Ingenaaid. XVI, 80 p. Niet afgesneden. 1e druk. Aan de buitenkant wat roest. Voorzijde origineel omslag (beschadigd, verkleurd, maar het IS er!) ligt los bij. Vaak toegeschreven aan Bilderdijk, maar de auteur was waarschijnlijk Hendrik Riemsnijder (1743-1825). Eerste uitgave van dit roemruchte erotische werkje, met als motto op de titel: 'Dat zelfs de Scherts der malse Wellust, vrij/ Van Vuigheid en Bordeeltaal zij'. Dit gedicht is kenmerkend: 'Raadzel: 'k Ben van gestalte klein; woon in een lom'rig dal Leef steeds bedekt, en ben met pragt noch praal bepaereld- Vogt is mijn voedsel slegts; men kent mij overal; 'k Ben stom en doof: nogthans regeert mijn magt de waereld, Schoon hij, die mij genaakt, trotsch en vermetel staat, Verzwakt nogtans zijn moed, eer' hij weêr van mij gaat.'

Het werd uitgegeven door zondagsschilder en striptekenaar Wil Klijssen (geb. 1927), oprichter van de Bond van Ex-Gedetineerden, die op verscheidene foto's zijn gulle lach laat zien. TOEGEVOEGD: Een behoorlijk expliciet vestzakboekje (12 x 8,5 cm) dat behalve de titel Porno 69 geen enkele tekst vertoont, geen uitgever of plaats, alleen maar foto’s.

With 2 pages of publisher's ads at the beginning and 2 at the end. Wrappers worn at the edges. Erotic oriental tales. 'Exposition' here means 'denuding'. Printed on very thin and supple India paper. An earlier edition had been issued by Charles Carrington in 1896. There appears to be another variant in a larger format on Dutch paper (see Guacamole 24). An unusual and very rare eroticum!

Amsterdam, Bauer et Cie./ Parijs, A. Méricant, (ca. 1900). Pag. 1-192 + een aantal losse plaatjes uit een ander exemplaar. Vroege Nederlandse publicatie geheel gewijd aan het vrouwelijk naakt. Dit betreft een collectie van twee incomplete exemplaren, door een liefhebber uit elkaar gehaald. De laatste (ca. 20) pagina's en de achterzijde van het omslag ontbreken. Het betreft een boek met Franstalige tekst waarin het lichaam van de vrouw op quasi-wetenschappelijke wijze wordt beschreven. Het is rijk geïllustreerd (gelardeerd) met zwartwitfoto's van jonge vrouwen. Blijkens de inhoud voorin bestaat het boek uit 14 hoofdstukken, maar er zijn er maar 13 in dit exemplaar aanwezig. Het tweede exemplaar bevat alleen foto's, de tekst (en de niet-erotische afbeeldingen) zijn eruit verdwenen. Maar dit exemplaar heeft de originele voorzijde van het omslag, en het geeft een indruk van de totale omvang van het boek. Het is niet anders, en daarom ook een stuk goedkoper.

Ashford Hill, self-published, 1940 = No place, Anthony Reid, 1970. 32 x 25 cm. Original wrappers. (24) p. Twelve lithographs designed and printed by Ralph Chubb for a grand project in 1940. Autumn Leaves was compiled by his literary and pictorial successor, Anthony Reid, from the leaves that Chubb left after his death. There was enough for 39 copies in three states, counting resp. 17, 15 and 12 lithographs each. This is one of the state with 12 lithographs, consisting of text with a large human (or animal) figure in the margin, printed in black on 6 leaves. Plus an illustrated title page and an introduction by Anthony Reid, comprising a colophon. A plea for freedom, a philosophical story about mankind in the form of an innocent child - but only a fragment of Chubb's planned masterpiece, The Child of Dawn.
