The Aitchisonian. Volume XIII, 1957-1958
[Lahore], Aitchison College. 1958. Soft cover. Book, N.d. [c.1958], 118 pages in English, ca ninety four pages in Urdu, many illustrations (some in color). 4to/27.5cm. Pictorial wrappers, few closed tears along spine, one small chip, the wrapper has pulled loose from the spine but is otherwise intact, small smudge on foreedge, text block stapled but otherwise internally clean and tight. One of the old Chiefs' Colleges from pre-Partitition India, the College was still an institution for the elite in 1957-58. An interesting publication about this still important school of the new Muslim country. Some ties to the pre-Partition period, prior Hindu staff and Hindu 'old boys' are mentioned without rancor. Good.
