London, printed for J. Johnson, 1803, in-4°, VIII + 262 p. + 12 sepia aquatint plates by Carr engraved by T. Medland, brown spot on first 2 leaves with some offsetting to plate 'Southampton', engraved bookplate 'Sir William Chatterton Bar' with devise 'loyal à mort', full polished calf, light rubbing, joints of front cover starting, some small holes on joints, spine with small loss, red label and gilt stamped. Good copy.
¶ Première édition. First edition. Illustrated with attractive views of Southampton and of French landmarks and monuments, printed in warm sepia tones.
