Pasadena Star News and Post. 1939, 1st Edition. A 42-page souvenir booklet in card wraps, commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the parade and with a young Shirley Temple on the cover. Contents include numerous photos of the various floats and three pages on USC's triumph over Duke (7-3) in the Rose Bowl. Near-fine with a touch of rubbing to covers. With the original illustrated 9" x 11' envelope in which it was sent (near-fine with small date written in top corner). Also included is the official four-page Program from the event, which features a listing of the floats as they were scheduled to appear (near-fine with brief note written at bottom corner of front cover).
