Alcoholics Anonymous: The Story of How Many Thousands of Men and Women Have Recovered from Alcoholism [AA Big Book] [Ninth Printing]
New York:, Works Publishing,, 1946., First Edition, Ninth Printing, Hardcover. Octavo, about 8.5 inches tall, in blue cloth with gilt stamped spine title, blind stamped title on cover. 400 pages. All in all, a wonderful copy in a very attractive, virtually complete, unfaded jacket with a small collection of insignificant flaws. The book's extremities barely rubbed, the stamp of an AA unit in Austin TX on the front endpapers and on the last page of text; binding sound and interior otherwise clean. The jacket is complete but for a tiny chip at top of each spine fold and one at the bottom front flap fold. Edge and extremity wear is light. There is a one-inch tear at the top front panel with associated creasing and a shorter tear with creasing at the top front flap fold. Finally, there is a tear of about a half-inch at the head of the spine, also with an associated crease. Very Good+ in Very Good Dustjacket.
