[EIWA JOGAKKO].
Eiwa Jogakko Thirtieth Anniversary, 1910 (Yearbook).

Covers with a floral decoration, quarter green cloth (but spine open). Unpaginated, illustrated by photographs with captioned tissue guards. We have classified this as a hardcover, but the covers are a heavy stiff paper. The institution became Kobe University although it was founded as a Methodist missionary school in 1879. In 1909 it instituted a four year college curriculum. One of the cords is broken so the binding feels very shaken. The first tissue guard is torn and soiled and the paper is toned. The cover corners are moderately worn and they are modestly soiled. Good.
