Engraved hand-coloured folding map in sections mounted on linen sections extend to 845/650mm; folding to 110x150mm. Scale '10 English miles to one inch'.In green embossed boards decorated with an attractive gilt vignette of title, engine, coach & price (then 4s 6d). Boards rubbed with sl.split to head of spine. Some dustiness and wear at edges of covers but the map is clean though the canvas is a little browned at the folds. No other significant marks or signatures. Small yellow booksellers label ( C.Keith, Bookseller & Stationer, Inverness) in corner of front pastedown. Stub of the front tie remains. See scans. . Very Good
