Washington: G.P.O., 1889. Orders varying in length from 1 to 16 pp. These are the proceedings of Army court-martials at forts and barracks all over the country: Ft. Lowell and Ft. Charges include desertion, drunkenness, disrespect for officers, etc. Many of the sentences mitigated by Pres. Cleveland. Includes lengthy proceedings against Lt. Col. George A. Forsyth at Ft. Huachuca, for fraud. Forsyth previously has a distinguished career and later was author of _Thrilling Days of Army Life_ (1900).
