In 1642 and 1646 volumes 2 (continuation of the present volume: Consiliorum decissivorum post primam centuriam semicenturia) and 3 (Consiliorum decissivorum semicenturia secunda) were published. We could trace only 1 complete set of 3 volumes (University library of Madrid) and 8 copies worldwide of the present first volume with no copies available in the trade.Occasionally misnumbered, but complete; some leaves browned; endpapers waterstained in upper section; title-page slightly yellowed in upper section. Vellum over boards defective and for the greater part lacking (eaten away)- binding in need of restoration.

Dicho esto, que es preceptivo, en general el libro presenta un buen aspecto. El autor se licenció en Derecho Canónico por la Universidad de Salamanca, fue sustituto de la Cátedra de Prima (1609), Catedrático de Vísperas de Cánones (1612-1613). Doctorándose por esas fechas en Derecho Canónico, todo ello en la misma Universidad. En 1615 alcanzo una de las cátedras en el curso de Cánones. En 1623 obtuvo una cátedra de Prima de Derecho Canónico, cuya vacante se produjo en 1630, dado que fue nombrado Fiscal del Consejo de Hacienda.
