In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with light rubbing to the spine and extremities, and lighter rubbing to the boards. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Front hinge is starting but firm. Lacking the front endpaper. Bookplate and prior owner's ink inscription to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with a few scattered spots, including to the plates.
