A very good set in contemporary 1/2 brown leather, marbled boards, the front board and first gathering of Vol. 1 detached, the frontispiece to Vol.2 loose, edges worn and frayed with few short marginal tears not affecting engraved surface. There is scattered foxing and timestaining throughout, especially to plates, but overall a tall intact copy of this standard county history.
