Text block edges embrowned and with some mild stains; mild scattered foxing throughout. Very good. While not everyone's cup of tea for light reading, this treatise on tenancy law in England is a thorough and precise distillation of the various issues in resolving disputes between landlords, their agents and their tenants. While the contents are a separate issue, the binding of this volume is a beautiful example of the bookbinder's art and a wonderful instance of the book-restorer turning a sympathetic and sensitive hand to the restitution of an old legal warhorse. This is a very handsome volume that would grace any professional's office shelf.
