Recently recased in contemporary vellum boards with endpapers renewed, title inked to spine, a little soiled and spotted, tail of spine rumpled and two corners bumped. Bookseller’s ticket of Galloway & Porter, Ltd. to upper pastedown. A quarto edition of Claudian from the Delphin series of classical texts which is, as a pencil note on the upper pastedown suggests, “not frequently met with”. Schweiger II 284.
