Frieburg: Kilianus, 1493. Goff P487. Three volumes (of five). Folio. Vols. I-II are in an early binding of brown calf over wooden boards, elaborately decorated in blind. Rebacked with more recent but still antique leather spines. Remnants of clasps present. Numerous old pinholes to boards. Moderate wear and scuffing to boards. The Tabulae is bound with antique cloth over wooden boards with a leather backstrip which matches the backstrips on the first two volumes. The interior of Vol. I has some small dampstaining to the upper right corner of the first dozen leaves; some small pinholes to approximately the first and last two dozen leaves; some scattered marginal dampstains throughout; some old ink writing (one note dated 1576) on the first two pages. The interior of Vol. II has some old wormholing to the first 40 leaves; some substantial staining to the right portion of the first 60 leaves; some light pinholing and staining to the final 40 leaves or so. The interior of the tabulae has one wormhole to the first three leaves. This is a partial set of Peter Lombard's SENTENCES with the commentary by St. Bonaventure. The complete set is four volumes plus a Tabulae volume. The set offered contains Vols. I, II, and the Tabulae. All three volumes are former seminary library copies and have a small blindstamp on some of the early leaves and old ink dates and shelf numbers on the spines. Text in Latin. Collates complete.
