Used, 1974 sixth printing of the second edition of Furneaux's Tacitus, revised by H.F. Pelham and C.D. Fisher. Presents the Latin text with substantial apparatus in English, plus almost two hundred pages of introductions, indices again in English. Boards show only very minor edgewear; bumped a little at head and tail of spine. Front free endpaper has been glued over pastedown (there appears to be some writing underneath) leaving the binding a little taut at the title page, which bears a previous owner's name. The contents, however, are otherwise clean, sound, and bright; the fold-out map at the rear remains in fine condition. TPW. Very Good/No Jacket.
