London, G. MacDonald & Co. 1926, First Edition. Hard Cover. Rebound in maroon leather over blue board; raised bands, gilt decorations and brown leather title label on spine. Binding slightly cocked, pinprick library stamp on title page, with accession stamp on verso, some handwritten numbers on front free endpaper, no other evidence of library ownership, good. A science-fiction novel set in the then near future (1935) and dealing with the horrors of future (atomic) war, Satanic villainy, and an unusual mystic and mythic vision of the nature of the world. Very scarce.

Book - in Near Very Good light tan boards with gilt lettering - light marking to the bottom edge of the front board and light bumping to the extreme corners and extreme ends of the spine.
