This story is based on a real incident that occurred when a young orca whale was stranded in the Mangawhai estuary on the north-east coast of New Zealand. Throughout the hours that passed before it could be rescued, an adult whale waited for it out at sea. There is also a real Little Yellow Digger. ISBN: 1869434730.
