Native American, Red cloth hardcover with white and black titles and decorations. 242 pages illustrated with several B&W photos. Crawford's lively account of a Baptist Missionary enterprise to the Kiowa "Blanket" Indians. Lots of good humor here, as well as insights into white-native relationships and attitudes. Photos are generally of Native American subjects, including one darn cute baby associated with a funny tale. A very pretty bright-red cover with nice contrasting decoration. Very slight edgewear, a couple of tiny spots on top board, name in pencil on front free endpaper, very clean overall. Very Good/No Dust Jacket.
