Price-clipped dust jacket (pretty much all the copies sold into the Canadian market were price-clipped) has nicks and short tears at spine ends; rear panel has light yellowing, small chips to outer corners; VG otherwise. The author's FIRST BOOK, a novel of Buckler his native Nova Scotia and a CanLit classic, uncommon in first edition. There was no Canadian edition at the time, and only one printing of the Holt edition.
