Two small soil spots to top page edges, usual yellowing to page edge; ink owner name at front; else fine. In a poor dust jacket, which lacks the bottom two inchs of spine; has a large skinned spot to spine across rear panel; other chips, tears, old internal repairs. The Canadian author's only novel, about a travelling European circus, it won a Governor-General's Award. Scarce in any sort of jacket.
