"In 1860, 'Frank Harrington' settled in the Queen's Bush, where he began fa rming on 100 acres of land. For forty years he kept a diary, making one entry annually on Christmas Day. It is from this document that his story emerges, rich with the events of pioneer life, its joys and excitements, its hardships and trage d i e s . " The editor has attempted to track down the original source of the diary which was printed previously in a newspaper and society journal, but without success and its authenticity remains in question. Slight waviness to top/bottom of te xt bl oc k, l ig ht soiling to bottom edge of both boards, slight bump at bottom of spine. Dust jacket has very minor edge wrinkling; light fading to color on spine, rear hinge and on flap-folds. Very Good+/Very Good.
