He discovered vast royal palaces and magnificent Assyrian antiquities. This book is Shirley Glubok's abridgement of his account, augmented by numerous photographs of the antiquities, and including copies of some of Austen's drawings (photography was not available when he wrote his account of the excavations). 830g.
