Old paper repair to foredge of title-page, not affecting print area. Woodcut vignette, incorporating a crab and a butterfly, on title page; some decorative woodcut initials. Light damp-marking to upper foredge corner of some pages and marginal damp-staining on lower foredge corner of the last dozen leaves. Old paper repair to lower foredge corner of last six leaves, not affecting printed area, though there are two small holes in two of these leaves, near the foredge margin, affecting a few letters. Colophon reads: 'Lugduni, Excudebat Michael Syluius expensis Antonii Vincentii, & Ioannis Frellonii, M.D.LIII.'
