Victor Koechl was a German-American businessman and owner of Victor Koechl and Company, which imported and distributed dyes, as well as medical and surgical instruments and supplies. At the time, he was also the sole agent for the toxins, anti-toxins, and serums of Farbwerke, formerly Meister Lucius and Bruening in Germany. The booklet listed the available substances, with prices, and described each one of them, with their preparations, applications, etc. Some of them included Tuberculin "Koch" (discovered by German microbiologist and one of the founders of modern bacteriology Robert Koch in 1890), Diphteria Antitoxin "Behring," Meningococcus Serum "Hoechst," and others. Apparently unrecorded, with no copies in OCLC and in the trade. Very good .
