Cuelho, Art - Correspondence between Art Cuelho and Norman Moser

Title: Correspondence between Art Cuelho and Norman Moser
Description: Big Timber, MT: 1977 to 1980. Correspondence between artist, publisher, and writer Art Cuelho and poet, editor and graphic designer Norman Moser. Both were part of the flourishing "little magazine" scene in the early 1960s. By the 1970s, Cuelho had left California and settled in Montana, where he edited the little magazine Black Jack and the small press Seven Buffaloes Press. Nine pieces, mostly typewritten, signed letters, though several have extensive handwritten notations. Two letters are handwritten on flyers advertising Seven Buffaloes Press books. Letters discuss small press publishing and the personal lives of the poets. Condition ranges from Near Fine to Very Good for the letters; one letter has no mailing envelope, and has more handling wear than the others. For the rest, envelopes are present, but most are stained and creased, with rough opening tears. .
