The first is The Working Man's Companion, The Physician I the Cholera, published in 1832 and published by Charles Knight, vi, 209 pp 2 plates and 1 fig in text a little foxing here and there. Small ink blot on title page. The second item Underwood's Guide to the Translation and Composition of Latin Descriptions with an Explanatory Latin Grammar written in a familiar style, together with a textbook and exercises. Published J Souter, London 1835. vii, 71, 119, 52 pp. The third item, Reid's Manual of Practical Midwifery containing a Description of Natural and Difficult Labours with their Management intended chiefly as a book of reference for students and junior practitioners, illustrated by fifteen engravings, published by Churchill, London in 1836. xii, 246 pp. Engravings present as called for. Quite a large ink blot on page 47 but the text is still legible. The binding is red cloth covered boards with gilt titling and library cartouche to spine, a relatively modern binding. Good/No Jacket.
