Broida's recently gave 175 works from his collection to the Museum of Modern Art, including pieces by Philip Guston, Christopher Wilmarth, Susan Rothenberg, Martin Puryear, Bruce Naumann and Richard Serra. John Elderfield has contributed an introduction to the collection, which is represented here with one work by each of the 38 artists included in the gift, and in many cases numerous works by one artist.
